Exciting times!

My first book, which tells the tale of Baffin the dragonasaurus and his adventures, is about to be illustrated! The second book in my dragonasaurus series is coming hot on Baffin’s heels.

When he was a boy, my son Jack loved to hear about Baffin the dragonasaurus and his dragonasaurus friends – not to mention the fearsome Grong! Jack is 19 now (time certainly flies!) and I am finally doing what I always promised both myself and Jack that I would do. I am writing down the dragonasaurus stories to share with families everywhere.

Storytelling has always been a hugely important part of my life. Some of my happiest childhood memories are of curling up with my Grandpa, for Tales of Peter Rabbit & Co. My sister and I listened for hours to my Mum’s amazing stories of adventure and magic. I vividly recall my sister sliding lower and lower in her chair until eventually she disappeared completely under the table during one particularly gripping story! Years later, as a mum, I got to share story time with my son Jack and a whole new batch of happy memories where created.

I hope that my stories give some of the pleasure that my family have enjoyed over the years.
